Cauliflower crust is all the new thing now. I have had pizza with cauliflower crust, assorted veggie type pot pies, and just about anything else you can think of that needs a crust-think quiche!
Just like everything new that comes down the pipeline, I must say that it is a mixed bag. Some are good, others not so much. I have liked so far also cauliflower gnocci which is very quick and easy. I put in in marinara sauce or just olive oil and basil.
The one thing I have not yet found that is really good is pizza with cauliflower crust. I have tried several brands and so far, nothing is good. Limp crust, no flavor, no body, etc.
Any body else have opinions?
