Random thoughts I felt were worthy of passing along

I’m Just Saying

I was walking my dog this morning when a lady came out of her house to put something in her mail box. I said good morning, how are you today, just the usual and guess what she said back to me? She said that she was very blessed today and hoped that everyone else was too.

I felt like that made my day. How special to say something like that when it seems sometimes that others are saying nothing but hateful, mean spirited things. So, suggestion time-think of a good mantra and say it to as many people as possible today. I am going to steal my neighbor’s comment and make it my own so here it is: “Have a Blessed Day!”   Love, Judith

Spring Has Sprung

It is lovely here today. Our trees are almost all out and the Dogwood is in full flower. Wherever you are I hope new growth and new life are a part of your thoughts today. More and more it is being shown and proven that a healthy attitude and optimistic view of life is in actual fact good for your physical health as well as your mental health. Oh, I know it is a tough challenge with all that is happening in the world and all of the hate and pessimism around, but surely we can, just as being ONE person, make a difference in our little corner of things. Say something nice to someone today then cap it off by saying something nice to yourself!!!  Have a Happy Day and Have a Great Day should not just be just hollow words. Set out to really do it.  Love,   Judith

Words Unsaid

Words that are near to your heart or on your mind need to be said. Sometimes those words remind me of that box of unfinished food you asked the waitress to give you in a box. Often you may even leave it on the table-forget to bring it home. You may also put it in the fridge and forget it until you find it later not fit to eat.  Your words, for good, kindness, or even a constructive comment meant as an encouragement or motivator need to be said. Do not let your thoughts or words wind up “going off in the fridge.”   Don’t leave words unsaid. Always think first, but never overthink and fail to speak.
