Fred Rogers, yes the old Mr. Rogers Neighborhood Children’s TV show host, was a big hero of mine. I have many of the over 40 children’s books he wrote and a also a book of his writings and quotes. I frequently use them in things I write and say. This morning I liked:

I ask you this morning to give this some thought. think about peace of mind, inner peace, freedom from fear, and even YOU sitting having a quiet moment in the tub, perhaps meditating for five minutes alone in a room with a lit candle, or my personal favorite when my kids were little: Going into the bathroom, closing the door, turning off the light, and taking 3 deep breaths. As a young mom, sometimes you get desperate, right?
